The Sol Invictus Arms TAC-9 is our version of a compact, modernized tube gun. It is incredibly reliable and built to last, while still being affordable and packed full of features. It has the entire action housed in the upper tubular receiver so there is NO buffer tube required. Chambered in 9MM and feeding from Glock magazines, it comes standard with a 5.5 inch 416R Stainless Steel barrel. The bolt, front trunnion, and steel upper receiver all feature a Nitrided finish for excellent corrosion and wear resistance. The lower receiver is milled out of Billet Aircraft grade aluminum with a Mil Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize.

At the heart of the TAC-9 is an all steel bolt which works with a standard AR-15 fire control group. This offers superior reliability and maintains the same manual of arms that users are accustomed to, decreasing training time on the new platform. You can drop in a lot of your favorite aftermarket parts as the Billet Lower Receiver is milled out like a standard AR-15 trigger pocket.

The Sol Invictus Arms TAC-9 was developed for customers that are looking for a compact, accurate platform that can be deployed quickly and can be adapted to your needs. Using the same magazines, accessories, and components that are readily available was an important criteria we wanted to maintain during the development of the gun. The front end can be swapped out for various configurations as it uses the same barrel nut system as the AR-15/M4. The same can be said for the rear of the gun being threaded for standard buffer tubes.

Every TAC-9 ships with a picatinny rail adapter threaded into the rear M4 buffer tube threads. You can add a side folding arm brace for example, using the Pic-Rail adapter, or simply remove the adapter and install a buffer tube to use a retractable arm brace. This makes pistol and carbine brace/stock configurations endless.
